Top 10 Movies of 2012

A new year necessitates lists. Otherwise the internet would explode. I have yet to watch too many movies that might wind up on a Top 10 Movies of 2013 list (e.g. The Wolf of Wall StreetAmerican HustleHerRushCaptain Phillips), which means I cannot compile that list quite yet. As far as 2012 is concerned, I have watched every movie that I imaginarlily tagged must watch (with the exception of Amour), so that I feel pretty confident about this list.

Fun fact: 6 of these 10 movies were shown at the sneak preview, of which I caught 4.

So here’s that list:

1. Django Unchained (Quentin Tarantino)

2. The Dark Knight Rises (Christopher Nolan)

3. The Avengers (Joss Whedon)

4. The Perks of Being a Wallflower  (Stephen Chbosky)

5. Looper (Rian Johnson)

6. Life of Pi (Ang Lee)

7. Pitch Perfect (Jason Moore)

8. Seven Psychopaths (Martin McDonagh)

9. Moonrise Kingdom (Wes Anderson)

10. End of Watch (David Ayer)

Daily Second – March 17 – April 16, 2013

The first entire month in its full glory!

Daily Second – March 18-31, 2013

Here’s my last two weeks in super high speed for your viewing pleasure. The highlights of last week obviously being the installment of my projector screen and the acquisition of my brand new BBQ Grill. Not to mention the easterly hangouts with my friends. A pretty good week.

SPOILER ALERT: Next week will  feature at least one video of a soccer match.

Daily Second – March 18-24, 2013

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a new entry, but fear not! I have returned with a new project called “Daily Second”. It’s inspired by this video, which has been roaming the internet and especially facebook for some time now. I was intrigued by the idea from the beginning and found the video shown in the presentation fascinating. So I figured that my own videos should be even more interesting. I’m excited to see what memories are triggered when rewatching these videos in a few weeks months years. At least for me.

I will try to post these videos weekly and then re-edit them into monthly ones, hoping to eventually get one 365 second video that covers an entire year. So make sure to check back every Sunday for 7 seconds of my life.

So here’s this week’s video in its Full HD glory:

This is pretty amazing!

This just in:

The Hobbit wird ein Dreiteiler. Wird sich zeigen, ob das eine gute Idee ist.
